Can we get Nick Saban to come and recruit 4 years worth of players for him, too? LSU has been on a steady decline since Saban's players have left, so I'm not sure what Miles' ceiling is with his own recruiting ability. It's probably about what he accomplished at OSU.

They are 6 and 0 and they just beat Florida in the Swamp and Saban hasn't been at LSU since the end of the 2004 season.

Sorry, poor wording. They just are not as good as they were with Saban's players and they never will be with Miles. This is not a bad thing, Saban is the best coach in the NCAA. I'm just saying that some of Miles' stats are inflated by having Nick Saban's recruits his first few years at LSU. Also, I think LSU loses 3 games this year.

True . . . I just went back tot he College Football Warehouse, I thought his record was a little better in the last couple of years, but they've lost 9 games in the past 2 seasons.

Miles seemed to make his rep as a good offensive coach when at OSU yet when he gets to LSU his offenses have never looked as good as those OSU squads :dunno:

LSU's players are all awesome all the time regardless of coach.  And with the players they have, they should probably be better than they are.
