has. Also,
their is the plural possessive of the pronoun they. When referring to the "board" it would be more correct to use
its which obviously is the possessive form of
it. Lastly, and let me know if I'm wrong here, it appears that you separated two strong clauses with a comma, which is known as a comma splice, instead of separating them with a conjunction, semicolon, or period.
