At least it was a minor character. On Family Matters, they replaced the mom for God's sake. I'm guessing its usually a money thing.

Salute your Shorts didn't replace any characters, but "Michael Stein" was basically replaced by "Ronnie Pinsky".

In 3 Ninjas and 3 Ninjas Knuckle up, the 1st and 3rd of the series, Rocky and Tum Tum are played by the same actor.

However, in 3 Ninjas Kick Back, the second in the series, they are played by different actors.

Colt is played by the same actor throughout all three films.

Seriously, who does that?

I did not realize the second Becky from Roseanne was Elliott from Scrubs.  Today, I learned something on goEMAW.com.  It's moments like this that make this place great.

On August 4, 2008, it was announced that Lionsgate Home Entertainment  had acquired the rights to the series. They subsequently re-released the first three seasons on DVD on September 7, 2010, with the same special features from the original releases.[9] On September 13, Lionsgate announced that season 4 would be released on December 7, 2010.

wow. great thread. great show. morgan actually disappeared for like a season and then came back. they mentioned it on the show with her saying something like "yeah...i've been in my room for a long, long, time". great bmw action there. also, "angela" was like thirty or something in real life.

I did not know that about Angela. I secretly had a thing for her. The one episode where she comes in to seduce cory, but just to prove a point. wow.

And from being Corey's mortal enemy to being Corey's love interest?

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3_Ninjas_%28film_series%29  I know it's Wikipedia, but I also have point 2.

2. I have seen this series far too many times. Rocky and Tum Tum are the same in 1 and 3.

Rocky, Colt, and Tum Tum appear younger than they were in the previous films because 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up was actually shot in 1993, the year after the first film was released, a year before 3 Ninjas Kick Back, and features the same three actors who played the ninja brothers in the first film. However, 3 Ninjas Kick Back, which replaced two members of the original cast, was released first due to the delay of Knuckle Up. In some scenes of 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up Rocky, Colt, and Tum Tum look older because these were filmed in 1995 after the filming of 3 Ninjas Kick Back. Rocky has braces and is taller with a deeper voice, as does Colt look taller and has a deeper voice in these scenes.
