Turner Gill Haters Spouting Off Again

This morning ku alumnus Fescoe was calling for Turner's head, mentioning the NDSU and Baylor losses as being so horrid change must happen.  Obviously, he ignored the overwhelming destruction that Turner's team laid down on #15 GaTech.

Anyway, when confronted with the fact Mangino basically sucked as bad as Turner for 5 years before the fluke of 2007, he stated "any comparisons between Tuner Gill and Mark Mangino make my skin crawl"   

His reason was obviously the color of Turner's skin, but after a commcercial break as his producer's informed him that being a black man is not grounds for firing, he stated that Turner "just looks disorganized on the sideline, he stares into space"  No game analysis, no actual wins and losses comparison between MM and TG.  Just because he doesn't like the way TG looks on the sideline.

I didn't think stuff like this could happen in 2010 but there is a large ku contingent that is very

I am fully on board with the clear displeasure which needs to be demonstrated in regards to the barrels of haterade being consumed and distributed over Turner Gill.

I cannot help but be slightly amused by some of the comparison.   One of my favorites was a sarcastic post about how Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh must be terrible coaches since their teams lost to Alabama and Oregon.   Goodness, if Baylor is as good as Alabama and Oregon we won't fare any better in Waco than ku did.

In fact, in some ways this no-girl rule could be helpful in recruiting. Part of what Gill  is trying to sell to these kids Momma's is that her son is going to be kept out of trouble at KU.
This kind of stuff really plays well in some circles. Especially in certain parts of Texas and the south.

I think the haters are not only racist, they are godless heathens. An oppy to build your program the right way doesn't occur very often so it should be taken advantage of. And a minimum of 7 years should be allowed.
