this thread is great

Which one of you clowns got shunned by Frank?

Let's not forget the "shunning" is based on a powerespect interpreting the behavior of Frank. It is very possible Frank made an adorable jester towards the goEMAW table and now the 'tards are more jealous.
I'll admit this is possible, but from my experience watching Frank, it's not hard to read the expression on his face and I don't really see him making an adorable gesture in any way, shape, or form unless it is to his lovely wife and/or kids.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

everyone was on pretty good  behavior while i was there, minus a few comments made to our ahearn fund representative who ate dinner with us.  she took it in stride though.

i left early though, watching Lon do his faux auctioneering put me over the edge and finished the night early for me.

i've seen funerals that were livelier than last night's event, going to these things just puts me in a bad mood.  way too much of the old guard in charge of these things.

it's like they're dead set on making everything a giant K-STATEO quilt.

Last night was my first BB Banquet.  I wish someone would have told me there was an organized white out.   :curse:

First, I know who chrisle is....so this is not unexpected.   :jerk:

His account is not only wildly embellished, but factually incorrect.  Two questions were asked aloud from our table to Frank, and each only after being called upon during the open Q&A session.

Yes, BSAC did yell "DC Assault" as during the applause as Rodney and Wally were walking to the stage before each of their respective "talks."  After each "yell" of DC Assault, Wally AND Rodney looked over at BSAC and gave him a thumbs up and were laughing and nodding....

At NO point was Frank or any other player-speaker EVER interrupted by members of our table.  Moreover, our table FREQUENTLY led the applause and were the FIRST to give standing ovations.  Perhaps it was this that upset chrisle?

Chrisle's "beef" with us dates back farther than this event, and his petty attempts to ruin the account of what was an otherwise excellent evening is pathetic and sad.

It had to burn his ass to see goEMAW featured so prominenntly…go eff yourself, chrisle, you lying prick.

To pretend that the goEMAW table didn't represent themselves better than the folks who give the bare minimum, show up to one game a year, sit in the back and don't give any money to the program is just dishonest (and reeks of jealousy).

Wally and Gruds very much appreciated the mentions of their AAU program that has a good relationship with KSU, they mentioned it later.  Funny how they made their way over to our table after the program was over to throw some props to the real fans.

And both questions that were asked of Frank, were answered.

I feel sorry for folks who take themselves so seriously that they can't actually support their school.

It sounds like this chrisle character is just another K-Stater with a perpetual case of the red ass . . .

He's the stay at home mom type who yells at the working mom for not doing the school pick up line right.

I'm not going to post his name, or interact with him in any way going forward.  My advice to him, is to do the same.

The real question lost in all the ugly jealousy from the other site is why wasn't Fitz there at is likely the biggest basketball gathering in the state, and formal announcement of Midnight Madness?

Not sure if you've heard or not, but Fitz has really had a struck of bad luck when it comes to his health[and will take all the prayers he can get].  His eyes man, his eyes are all mumped up and crap.  Medication is a bitch, has had to cut waaaaay back on doing what he loves.....writing about KSU Sports.  Prolly just killed him to miss it.

Simple....it's FB season and no one on Wabash could give a crap about BB.  Many simply tolerate KSU having a team.  Sure they are happy that we are winning so that they can brag, but they don't really give a eff.

Wish MyaJ wasn't banned from GPC so he could get to the bottom of this.  The apathy shown towards the men's basketball program by GPC is astounding.  I've actually heard that Frank isn't too pleased with GPC and the seeming lack of interest in anything basketball related.

Frank made some subtle remarks about certain segments of fan support who didn't believe in him/his team.

you need to look no further than the fact that they quickly deleted a thread that was referencing the basketball banquet last night. simply choosing to not cover and ignore basketball is one thing but they've apparently taken it a step further and are now banning discussion. wow, just wow.

Maybe fitz felt threatened but goEMAW.com because of the sponsership and members of goEMAW asking questions (which I'm sure were hard hitting) and he was no where to be seen.  This is why he took down the thread, he was embarassed that his ass was getting handed to him that night.

goEMAW asked Frank about both Shane and Freddy.

reports on Freddy were GREAT.  Good hands, can move, got in shape etc.  Reports on SS were HUGE wingspan, can defend.
