Daniel Thomas Nearly Cost Us the Game

Only 3.5 yards per carry for 76 yards. And a key fumble late when the game was tied. JFC, thank god we had Carson Coffman to step up and save us.

Your "to the point" irony is not welcome here.

He made a touchdown saving tackle.  You know damn well CCQ wasn't making that tackle if DT didn't.

HUGE talking point here.  Doubt Carson would have even tried.

*pretend the penalty on return never happened

Clearly he should've been a safety

Hey guys, you know who was given a ton of opportunities to shine today and utterly failed? Daniel Thomas.

You know who was given very few opportunities and took advantage of most of them? Carson Coffman.

 :horrorsurprise:

I still think DT is the best back in college football.

I wouldn't call getting a handoff up the middle where our line wouldn't block for you a ton of opportunities, then sure... He made one mistake in my mind.

Yeah that's exactly what I said.... :jerk:

Where do you think Thomas has gotten most of his success this season? Hint: rhymes with "riddle".

Thomas gets way too much credit for all the success that we have to not take any blame when the offense cannot move the football.
