Ignore the locals, they will try and sell you worthless crap if you acknowledge their presence.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

My wife and I went there for the honeymoon. I got asked  to buy weed constantly (including before we even got out of the airport parking lot). Somebody told us prior to going to take extra shoes (sandals, whatever), locals will trade all sorts of touristy feces for your shoes. We didn't, but observed that they were correct. We went to a Sandals, and had a good time.

Was there a month ago, in milwaukee now. One thing to know about these passive aggressive Northerners, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ask them about any recent Jamboree's they have attended. They will talk for HOURS in their stupid hokey pokey accents saying stuff like boout(about) and beeeg(bag) while you stare at them with a blank face.

I have a relatively HJIQ....

Goat Belly Soup. actual food dish & actually not terrible.  Eat everything, especially the seafood, but drink bottled water.  Drink Red Stripe, it's a lot better there

Do you have a driver? You should get a driver.  The cabs/cabbies DGAF about you and you're basically subject to the hookers/criminals they pal around w/ so you'll have to deal not only w/ "Pay me w/e i tell you" cabbies but also deciding if you want to pay for sex & drugs every time you get in a cab.

The Indians [store owners] there are assholes.

Make a ton of bobsled jokes & references.
