Brace yourselves for some bad news on Josh Selby's eligibility, #kubball fans.
The lead up (whether based on nothing or actual news) is rarely done properly in the BBS community
Multiple sources telling me the Josh Selby eligibility problem is one of transcripts/academics, not amateurism. So there's that. #kubball
Kansas coach Bill Self released the following statement about freshman point guard Josh Selby on Friday:"We have had numerous inquiries about the status of Josh Selby. The NCAA has cleared Josh to be on scholarship, attend class and practice, but he has not yet been cleared for participation. That process is ongoing. It is not uncommon for these cases to take time, as we have seen in many other cases. Of course we would prefer that this be behind us, but we respect the process and will not comment further until it is complete.”
Expect a short 3 sentence release, quietly, at about 4:59:59 CST.

Just because reporters have been calling?

How can the kid attend class if his transcripts and academics are not yet cleared? Wouldn't this be worse than his amateurism being questioned? I mean, it sounds like the kid shouldn't even be there?
