Good thread.  Usually depends on if it was a "good" or "bad" day.  Usually a "bad" day recap will take much longer and include strange voice imitations of the people she's agitated with.  "Good" day recaps sometimes take just a couple minutes.  All recaps regardless of day quality include what was consumed for breakfast, lunch and any snacks as well as who she met to consume said items with.  Most days will also include a story of a poor driver encounter.

LOL. This is pretty damn accurate. The voice imitations are my favorite. Agitated days bring out the best in her.

My wife can't talk about some specifics at her job, so I get the bonus of her having to make up analogies. On agitated days, she gets impatient here and all her analogies are about cats and pet care. Really spices things up.

Daily recap is typically about 5 minutes.  Unless we are going somewhere right after we get off work and then the recap lasts for the duration of the car ride.  An hour and a half has been the longest so far.

I get periodic updates throughout the day, everytime something 'noteworthy' happens I get a 5 minute phone call.  Then I get a full scale recap when I get home.
