Will we see the techmo bowl offense by Nubb?

Was just remembering D_Scott's bad-ass player quote and wondering when it was going to come true.

I'm thinking we throw it down in two weeks.

Video to come, but I kinda liked this exchange and thought it was telling...

Me: Let's say Sept. 4 against UCLA you look behind you and suddenly Sammuel Lamur is lined up under center, Daniel Thomas and Chris Harper are behind him and Collin Klein is spread out and then you've got Brodrick Smith. If you're UCLA, what are you going to do against that?

Kendall: (chuckles) "Well, there's not much you can do. There's a lot of people to cover, a lot of really talented people and good people that if you get the ball to them they can hurt you. You got that kind of backfield, you've got that much to prepare for. That's a lot to prepare for and I don't feel a scout team can prepare UCLA for that."

Me: At times, does it really seem like a Techmo Bowl offense?

Kendall: (smile) "It's fun. It's fun. It's exciting every day. We have good athletes to play with us. I'm excited for this season."

P. S. Tecmo Super Bowl was far superior to regular Tecmo Bowl and I will flash out on anyone who says any different.

Most Tecmo Bowl players are pretty evenly matched. The real champions are seperated by their ability to zig and zag, back and forth when you have a wide open field in front of you and the other team chasing you down.

Oh please, in 2000, Da Bomb is a joke (although in the original, it was virtually unstoppable).  A steady diet of Quick Dish (run like an option or thrown to the QB streak), zig zag, and subzero is where it's at.
