Harlan Co., USA

great documentary (you can stream on netflix)

Even if you don't agree with the politics, it is an unreal and captivating story of backwoods Kentucky and a coal miner's strike.

They are the kinds of people that eco-fascist and hero of some in our current government Pentii Linkola says should be eradicated and their industry shut down.

Have you ever seen Justified on FX?  99% sure that takes place in Harlan Co, KY (fictionally speaking, perhaps actually filmed there as well).

I like it (not a socialist).  It's like a modern day western.  You have a rogue US Marshall trying to stop Harlan's Hillbilly mafia (instead of selling coke and heroin they sell meth, but do all the other mafia type things).  The guy who played Kelly (timothy olaphant???) in "The Girl Next Door" is the main character, US Marshall.

There's no political agenda, so I think men of all persuasions would enjoy it.  Women do not.

Pretty sure he wants to have a dictatorship with which to drop nukes on all cities anyway.

So, they are in good company?

I watch the crap out of Justified and just about every other series FX produces.   Justified is really good and that Oliphant dude plays a badass well.  You remember him from Go?  He played the bad drug dealer...  He was also in the newest Die Hard movie but I don't really think that's anything to brag about.
