Activities will include scrimmages by both the men's and women's teams, in addition to comments from head coaches Frank Martin and Deb Patterson and selected players. The event will also feature special video introductions, a dunk contest, performances by the K-State pep band, Willie Wildcat and the Classy Cats, as well as a few surprises.

The "few surprises" better be good.

The thing that makes me feel better at least is that Frank is the kind of coach that knows how important these things are to recruiting and will probably be very interested in what they are planning for it.

If the athletic dept staff looks at this as they should, which is that it's about 10% for the fans, 90% for recruits, that will help immensely.

Some things I really hope we do:
- Not the Wabash. Looks kind of cool from far away, completely embarrassing during espn closeups.
- No band, please. Nothing but hip hop.
- No Wyatt. Go get somebody cool and half-way recognizable to emcee this thing.
- Invite back old players. Whoever, but def Mike and Bill and have them talk about the millions of dollars they have now because they went to K-State.
- Get the hottest women possible everywhere we can. Only the cuttest classy cats. The idea is quality over quantity. Put hot women all around the recruits serving them drinks.
- Dim the lights, badass highlight videos, shoutouts from famous people, awesome frank martin speech, adorable pullen/samuels speech, lazers, doom logo's, elite eight banner unveiling (can we get some banners, please?), chanting recruits names when we show them on the jumbotron, dunk contest and call it good.

I just came in my pants and fell into a fetal postion sucking my thumb.

With our athletic dept.  it's probably Lance Harris or music by Men at Work.

Probably videos from our 3 nba'ers is the best we can hope for  :bawl:

If they actually do some of the things I've heard thrown around for the surprises, it should be pretty cool. I mean, no goat milking demo's or anything. It shouldn't be like the lamest thing ever. We'll prob find some way to dork it up though.

a goat milking demo would be far better than anything mentioned so far.
