Wut?

You know, the law that made it illegal for U.S. financial institutions to deposit money into the accounts of known gambling sites. The law that was passed by being attached to a bill dealing with the safety of U.S. ports because it couldn't be passed on its own.

Oh yes, Republican Bill Frist was responsible for the legislation so I'm sure it's OK.

It should have been a separate bill, rather than attached to an unrelated bill.

It really isn't as difficult as you are making it.

Fascinating.

Healthcare Reform:  The vast majority of American's would have gladly supported healthcare reform had been limited to a subset of 4 or 5 key provisions ex: pre-existing conditions.   What we got from the Democratically Controlled Congress and the Neo-Socialist in the White House was a many thousand pages long monstrosity completely overhauling the healthcare system (It does, end of story), creating an entirely new bureaucracy and clearly set to drive up costs ex: health insurance premiums. . . . while selling out to things the Neo-Socialist in the White House attacked during his campaign.  Ex:  Big Pharma.  But that's another story for another time.

Now on Immigration . . . we get all of this hand wringing about how complicated it is, how it just can't be figured out easily (but they managed to ram rod a many thousands pages long healthcare bill through in a matter of months).   Translation:  We haven't figured out a way to politically make blanket amnesty work so we'll have millions of new voters.   We steadfastly refuse to perform our fiduciary responsibilities in providing border security (both parties are to blame for this, but the Democrats and the Neo Socialist in the White House have exasperated the situation).   Yet, what do the vast majority of American's want:  Complete Border Security, and a common sense approach to Immigration Reform which includes an easier path to citizenship, yet closes the loopholes to the people who are clearly here to do nothing but sponge.   As has been pointed out, if the DREAM legislation is such a fantastic piece of legislation, why does Democratic Thug from Las Vegas need to attach it to a Defense Spending Bill (Defense Spending Bills . . .  the Democratically Controlled Congress of the last 5 years has NEVER met one they didn't pass with Bells on)???   Admit it resident Libratards and Obamabots . . . your own in most cases have sold out to special interest on this, and you know this is just nothing but a ploy to get votes.    The Neo Socialist in the White House is currently weighing the options . . . his desired version of "immigration reform" which will undoubtedly cost him almost the entirety of the "independent" voting block that swung his way compared to the numbers of instant voters we'll have that will almost undoubtedly swing his direction.

We'll know how the numbers look based on whether the Neo Socialist continues to backpedal on immigration reform or not.  Stay tuned.

It would be interesting to see how much of the deficit accumulated under W was attributed to Pelosi and the congressional dems holding the defense budget hostage and attaching pork to it in order to appease special interests.  I'm guessing its close to 50 cents for every dollar spent in '07 and '08, but wouldn't be surprised if it were higher.

He's been flailing for a couple days now.  Being wrong about everything has taken its toll on his ego and ruined his "I'm the smartest guy in the room" shtick.

Look, I realize that 99% of sugar dick's posts are complete made-up bullshit, but some of them are more made up and more bullshit than others.  I really shouldn't give any of his posts a serious reply, but posts like his last in this thread are especially a waste of time.

You're a f*cking idiot.   I truly feel sorry for you.  Being smug and ignorant is such humiliating way to live ones life.  The sad part is, such a person never knows their ignorant because their blinded by their own arrogance and therefore can never correct their jackassish behavior.  I bet your family/friends dread going in public with you.

Nothing in that question was bullsh*t, and unless you know the answer (which is impossible because you know nothing) just STFU.  Why don't you go back to BBall board and complain about how important Dominique Sutton is to our teams "offensive rhythm" and pouring over KenPom stats you don't understand. :blindfold:

I prefer autoscroll.  But I'm still not seeing any questions in any of your posts, sugar dick.  I'm seeing lots of rambling nonsense, but no questions.

Pretty common.  Make a piece of legislation seem innocuous with a cute little name and then act all put out when people complain about a cute little bill.

If I were a political guy I would make all my bills curse words.  The TV commentators would have to say it because it's just an acronym.  I would be giggling so hard watching the news.

And using words like DREAM as the acronym is so smart. You don't want to kill a DREAM do you? What are you a rough ridin' racist? Why do you want to kill the DREAM of others? Only a scumbag would do that.
