So, besides my 1973 Massachusetts sate judo championship ring, I don't wear any.  I think someone who has had my kind of success in life should have more.

what do you guys think?

Wedding band and a watch.  The watch because I can't stand it when people use their cell phone as a timepiece.  What if your phone dies?  My super elite looking yet not over the top Citizen Eco-Drive will never die.  EVER!!

There was a K-State bowl ring from, i believe, 1980 on ebay.  Some topeka pawn shop wanted $200 for it....

I agree on the watch, nothing puts the guy sitting across from you during a big time business meeting into checkmate faster than having a better timepiece than he does.  You know it, and so does he.

I got mine last year.

It's gotta be a nice but not over the top "hey look at me I'm a gigantic douchebag" watch.

Stick with Tivol, Vinca got robbed on Labor Day.  + Tivol sells the brands you want.

also- don't buy your watch online.  if you want to insure it, you'll need to prove you bought it from an authorized dealer.

Wedding band. No watch (might as well wear a sun dial ).

Not sure if there's ever a scenario for straight men outside the Mediterranean who aren't rappers to wear necklaces or bracelets. If you're going to wear a gold chain, you might as well rub rogaine on your chest and buy a track suit.

JFC.  Agree with Felix Rex on the watch thing.  Who are you people, my grandfather?  Did you bring an hourglass to work with you, too?

the whole watch or no watch thing depends greatly on what you do for a living imo. i personally have no need/desire for one, but i can see why clams or lsoc would want a nice one.

Decent argument. I actually own a watch that I wear when I visit facilities that don't allow cell phones. Really sucks the first time when they take your phone away and your "time blind" for the day.

There's a guy in my office that does the fancy watch thing.  Has, like, a lot of them.  Tries to tell me about them a lot.  I'm always, like, "Is it a Fossil or something?" and he gets all mad/sad.  Pretty good times.

i agree w/ this.  it's in large part a status symbol, imo, so go big or go home.

also, i love when a watch wearer is asked for the time and still pulls his cell phone out.
aren't you glad it wasn't you? - g.h.

Two kinds of people in this world:

1. Those who check the time on their cell phone
2. Those who have to check the time on their cell phone to set the time on their extremely antiquated piece of jewelry.

Two kinds of people in the world:

1) People with real jobs who don't care what time it is/can look on their computer or clock in their office

2) People who need their watch to make sure they take their 15 minute break on time

Good luck with your watches, losers.
