Well, it was pretty clear Lamur wasn't the best option, but I think it was fair to hold out some form of hope on Klein, especially since he was the #1 during the Spring.

When they started saying Coffman was starting with the 1's during summer practice, yeah, it was obvious that 'hope' probably should have shut down at that point.

If it makes you a powerespect to hope that they don't trot out a D2 quarterback, sure, the entire fan base is probably full of them.  Myself included, obviously.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not saying "Coffman sucks.  What about Klein/Slamur?".  I'm saying "Coffman sucks.  I'm going out to the parking lot to drink." or "Coffman sucks.  I'm not going to the game unless we're having a giant pak'r.".

And even though those statements both relate to Coffman, they actually represent my bigger picture feelings of disgust about OB letting this happen.
