Bad news 'Clams.  My contract is up this week and I will soon be buying a new phone.  As I want to stay w/ Sprint and they only have one ugly ass BB 6.0, I will not be using a BB to post much longer.  I only hope the new Android that I choose will be as user friendly as my trusty BB.  It's going to be a bittersweet moment, I am sure.

My dad has an evo and seems to really enjoy it.  Kinda would like a full keyboard though.  Can't remember the name but Sprint's other 4G has a slideout keyboard that I like.

Since this is now a phone thread (thanks JT's BB), I have  a question for the phone folks.

I had a BB and loved it.  Traded up(or thought I was) and went to the HTC HD2 when it came out.  Like the phone, but absolutely hate the touch screen keyboard.  Things are too close, and my typing takes easily 3 to 4 times longer than what it did on the BB.  Are all touch screens a pain in the ass like this?  I am seriously considering going back to a smaller, less resolution screen because of the inconvienence of the touch screen typing, and no, I am not old.

Yep.  You pretty much described why I hate using a touch screen to type with.  Some people love them, but I do not.  (no old)

Yes.  Pretty cool so far.  Will take some getting used to.  Many bbs terms aren't something it will recognize.  has a little delay while it deciphers what your dumbass finger just did, but is pretty accurate.

Pretty sure I saw some dude using it on youtube.  Looked very impressive and more than a little intimidating.  I'll definitely give it a try.
