That would be the most awful

Full days work at the farm, then in the house in time for kick off... probably fall asleep mid 2nd quarter.

This will be me. We'll probably be harvesting corn therefore I won't get a mid afternoon nap.

I didn't even know Missouri State was joining CUSA!

Quote
"An MSU spokesperson said the school paid around $50,000 to cancel its 2026 contract to open the season at Kansas State University. Missouri State and the University of Kansas also agreed to cancel their 2027 opener with no fee."

This was my childhood... falling asleep next to my father on the 4455 or our 7720 Titan II as he went back and forth across the fields.

I was running a 6620 (non-titan) cutting soybeans during the 2014 OU game while listening on the radio. Radio didn't work in the truck that the old man was running so the two of us were crammed in the cab of the combine listening while he was waiting for the truck to be filled up.

Our first tractor with a cab was a 4240, probably 79-80.  AM radio listening to Denny and Fred do Royals games.  Cats football was not must listen radio.  F350 with a gooseneck going to local sale barns in the evenings to pick up calves listening to Royals games was another memory.  St Mary's, Holton, Nebraska City, Wakarusa

Also, and i know it's also only missed it by a day, but having only 1 home game in October two years in a row is depressing

What a funny way to once again end up not playing our first Big 12 game at home.

It is, also did a quick check to last year's schedule, Baylor and KU (  :surprised: ) also in the same boat (just one home game in October back to back years).
