I seriously doubt Jesus would support Roe v Wade.

You think Jesus would have a problem with an individuals right to privacy? If so, I'm forced to disagree.

I think He would be more along the line of "Thou shalt not kill".  The "right to privacy" was a foreign concept at that time.  Existed nowhere in the world most likely, and wouldn't for probably another 1900 years.  Your life and possessions were at Caesar's whim.

Fair enough. But according to your original post we're suspending our disbelief long enough to imagine that Jesus was alive in the time of Henry Wade and  Norma McCorvey (Or vice versa?). I'm sure you can imagine, for a moment, the constitutional right to privacy wasn't a completely "foreign" concept to Mr. Christ.

"What would I do?" Said Jesus.

Like I said, "thou shalt not kill". That sentiment predated him, you know.  Moses.

How do you think he would feel about corporate tax breaks?

Pretty sure he would be for them if it improved the overall economy.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't give a feces about taxes or the overall economy.

Pretty sure Jesus wants everyone to earn a decent living.

Pretty sure he doesn't care about earning a decent living. If anything, he'd rather we all be poor.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

a decent living is a roof over your head and food on the table.
You're getting annoying really fast. Personally, I think it's hilarious that you have the audacity to suggest that you have such insight into the thoughts of Christ.

What about the op or his sycophants?  Silent on them, I see.

I didn't feel the original post warranted a response. Notice I didn't reply in the thread immediately.

Additionally, BMW didn't assert that he knew what Christ thinks. He took Christ's teachings and connected them to a political ideology. Misguided, sure. Hilariously arrogant? Not really.

Being liberal back in the day wasn't the same as being liberal today.

FYP, just because you jump on the bandwagon doesn't mean you get to claim you started it.  This thread is like 10X more Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) than my Muslim bible thread.  You're a f*cking buffoon.

At the very least Jesus, and the stories about him, are metaphors for community, morality, and family.  Liberals also hate all of these things (they are also mostly atheists and would be disgusted by your awkward and somewhat creepy initial post).  Hmmmm, awkward and somewhat creepy . . . BMW are you a lesbian?
