...but right now, Turner Gill looks more like a poor man's version of Terry Allen than the second coming of Ron Prince.  Fire away.

Sounds like your Lew is leaving while the leaving is good. And it sounds like its today. Would you stop dragging us down if a power conference calls, please.

I read on the phog that the players are not expecting difficult practices this week because that's just not the type of coach that Coach Gill is, and that punishment will not make them better. Your thoughts on this?

Heard the stadium looked good.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I did not see the game. Did Pick get pulled because he sucks or did Turner Gill want to find out if his second team was better than NDSU?

12. Kansas (12) Yikes, guys. Won't get any easier with No. 19 Georgia Tech bringing its option attack to Lawrence. Jayhawks may have to wait another week for their first touchdown.

From ESPN's conference rankings.

Chingon is probably right. I shouldn't have been so mean with my last post. fwiw, I think that KU will cover the spread against Georgia Tech. Ron Prince was a 2-point conversion away from losing to Illinois State in his first game, and his team won 7 games that year.

We wouldn't have beat that spread against UL though...   Should still bet the farm.

I will agree that GT covers the spread as it stands today (I was trying to be nice to BMW). However, I don't think it is the lock that many are claiming it to be. Both teams will try to run the ball a lot. This will shorten the game. If KU can score some points (big IF), they can keep this game from looking like a disaster on the scoreboard, even though GT is sure to dominate all aspects of the game.

I think it will be interesting to see if Gill will bring your RB back to RB position.

Lots to figure out.

Things have to get better.

Yes they do....can't really get worse.  Doesn't mean they are anywhere close to the mountain top that is ISU football.

Is a "poor man's version of Terry Allen" better than "the second coming of Ron Prince?"
