Pinstripe Bowl Watch

Obviously the major focus of the season this year is to get to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

Following is the Big 12's selection order:
BCS - Tostitos Fiesta
AT&T Cotton (SEC)
Valero Alamo (Pac-10)
Insight (Big Ten)
Bridgepoint Holiday (Pac-10)
Texas (Big Ten)
New Era Pinstripe (Big East)
Dallas Football Classic/Eagle Bank (Big Ten/ACC)

After this first week's worth of action, I think we are still on pace.  KU has taken a step backward.  They were stiff competition for this bowl, given their Lew Perkins connections to the greater NYC area...obviously that isn't much of a worry now.

The following are my updated projections for Big 12 bowl bids

AT&T Cotton = Texas Tech
Valero Alamo =  Oklahoma
Insight = Nebraska
Bridgepoint Holiday = Mizzou
Texas = Oklahoma State
New Era Pinstripe =  Kansas State
Dallas Football Classic/Eagle Bank = Iowa State

Well, I don't think you have to overperform really either.... fans just need to 'not suck' like Missouri fans and you can basically get where you want.

if we made the dallas one i would try to go. prob wouldnt have enough money to swing a NY trip. but ill be happy with either. my goal for the team is the same it was last season and thats to make a bowl game any bowl game.
