Va Tech Pro Combat Unis
« on: September 06, 2010, 06:55:58 PM »
Just getting ready to watch Boist St. v Va. Tech and they were showing the Va. Tech Pro Combat Unis.  They looking freaking awesome.  Flat black helmets look wicked.  Just once couldn't we do something out of the ordinary that was cool like that.  I do like KState's unis this year, but cmon!

It looks like a large portion of the Tech seats have Boise fans in them.  This couldn't have been part of their regular season package...must have been a special deal.

VT unis are freaking awesome.
Boise St's aren't bad either...like the big logo on one side of the helmet.

Imagine what Nike could do with the powercat, add in a little black, no more horizontal stripes, k-state across the front or shoulder pads and on the gloves... maybe even some sick alternate "black lion" black uni's too. Would have gone perfect with the combat theme.

You know how biased I am toward all-white helmets, but VaTech's helmets are just sick.

Was getting ready to make this thread. VTs jerseys are very elite. Love the flat black and the "hyper elite" numbers. I also thought that Boise's oversized logo on the helmet looked pretty legit too.

Hate VaTech's numbers. Just focus on the helmet. The rest is meh-to-ugly.

Boise's are terrible.  Oversized logo is stupid.  VT's are very good.

I think every ProCombat uni s great aside from Oregon State and Alabama and Ohio State.  The rest are all pretty great.

I still think that the modern fit and material of the new/old EMAW uniforms looks good and the helmets are glorious.  Still would love to see a pro combat take on KSU fb.

Hell, if we have a break-out year this season we could be rocking some come next season.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Tech is talking SOOOOO much hullabaloo in this game.  I can't decide if I like the swagger and that it will pay off for them later...OR whether to cheer for the Smurfs to "show" the big kids what they are made of.  So confusing for me, emotionally.
