Was on the radio today talking about his 2010 team. Kept placing emphasis on how the entire team was full of "thin, tall guys with great speed" that have all been baseball and basketball players. Srsly. Poor Dave Logan often did not know what to say after hearing the answers to his Qs.
Paraphrasing (only slightly inaccurate):
"Such and such is a great baseball player, yeah we were glad to get him. Being such a great baseball player, you know, gives a kid a lot of advantages. He's a great baseball player. A real athlete."
"You know, as far as a punter-kicker like that, I mean... He plays basketball. To have a kid like that, who can play basketball, makes that phase of your game a lot better."
"Tremendous athletes. That's what I would say about this team. They're a bunch of guys that play baseball, basketball... and you look at them on the football field and think, geez... Like Mobley, that's a kid that can go out and play defensive end, linebacker... You know, just a kid that has played everything including quarterback."
Also mentioned that they "just need to keep chipping away."
