Not unlike women liking men with Australian accent and not changing it to United States accent, or guys liking a Korean accent with a woman. Much sexier to others when you just be yourself where ever you go, and not pretend to be something your not.

Sad thing is, a cowboy from western Kansas has a better chance of getting laid in California than 95% of the people on this board.

I like California. Won't claim to be an expert on it because I've only been there 3 times. Last time I stayed in Long Beach for a week on a business trip. Enjoyed walking around down there, and the aquarium had just opened up. My company rented it out for a night.
