Dude you're clueless about how the powercat was born - Snyder didn't create it at all. We all know that Snyder got his start at Iowa as an assistant. When the logo was redone in Iowa, the artwork was done at a Graphic Design firm in DeMoines. When Snyder came to Manhattan obviously he wanted to rebrand the team, so he sought out the guy at the design firm in Iowa who did the original design for the U of I and talked to him about doing a new logo for KSU... and the Powercat was born. Some of the stories you hear about things on this site are, well, far-fetched; however, this story is very true. I personally know the guy who did the logos, I am in contact with him to this day and I took a couple of classes from him as well in illustration. Oh, and he is a RABID KSU fan.

I can't think of the last time I thought about Iowa in basketball.  Wouldn't of been surprised to hear they didnt have a team or something.

wow, someone stupid enough to think that "snyder stole the powercat from iowa" meant that synder sat down with a stencil, but mentally astute enough to remember pointless crap about a faceless graphic designer in some random hick town in iowa.

that's a narrow range.

I like the part of that website where they define what each word in "Let's be mad again" means.  Very informative.

I'd be mad if the coach down the road with  zero coaching experience was reeling in highly touted transfers.

Havs, the reason those kids are transferring is because they sucked at their other schools and didn't get enough minutes to feed their over-inflated sense of entitlement.
