Coffman Out??
« on: September 03, 2010, 11:58:32 AM »
Guy came into work last night and said "Coffman isn't starting". When I asked why he said he got pulled over on campus for speeding and almost hitting a pedestrian. The cop let him off with a warning but OB found out about it anyway. Anyone hear anything about this?

He won't be playing but it's not because of his driving.  The kid has been dealing with a shoulder hernia for weeks.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

CCq apparently told the crowd at PPonP last night.  I don't think that's really a benching offense though.

He hurt his shoulder playing badminton.

Yep, the shoulder hernia is significant.   Carsy Coffman's laser rocket arm, a weapon that would make the late Dr. Gerald Bull proud . . . has been reduced to a airsoft rifle by that hernia.

There seems to be some shoulder hernia history in the program.  Aftershock of the Mike Kent tenure?

pfftt, like OB would keep Zipper Coffman out for that. Has to be the hernia.

I really think we're seeing a trend here guys.  And don't forget that Collin and Slamur were also QB's under Kent's "tutelage."  This epidemic isn't just going to go away next week.

Was there anyone here who actually didn't think Harper was not going to start at QB?  OB is a genius at this stuff!!   :pbj: :pbj:The play book is open.. :pbj:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

After being a backup in Juco and slated 3rd string QB at Kansas State, junior Sammuel Lamur surprises all by throwing two TD's and running for two more.
