In regards to the sharks, I know how to avoid being killed by them based upon the second photo:
When they are coming after you do not try to swim away- like you even could. Instead, turn and swim right towards them. Then, when the open their mouth to bite your in half, swim right in like really super fast and then swim right through that wide open gill. Shark would be completely confused and then probably just swim away.

i know that this is pretty much common knowledge, but i would say that my biggest WTF moment is how much the monkey's foot looks like a hand.

I don't remember where I saw the caption, but I'm pretty sure that is a moth/butterfly damaged by the fukushima radiation.

EDIT: Nevermind. Not the same thing. But here's the link I was talking about anyway. http://rt.com/news/fukushima-radiation-butterflies-mutate-672/

This was from the first Air France A380 departure out of San Francisco International Airport. It was pretty much long gone, and I had stopped shooting, but as it passed through the fog bank over San Bruno it started making a vortex behind it. I zoomed in quickly and caught this.
