But remember kids, the problems the he inherited are so very, very huge.   Nothing says, "I've got so many things that need to be fixed thanks to the guys that used to be here" . . . than 42 or 43 rounds of golf and over a months worth of vacation days in 9 months.

Meh, we've got close to 10% of our population taking extended vacations, why can't he enjoy some time off?

I don't remember the exact #, but at this point in his presidency, he's taken nearly half the vacation days of Bush, Clinton, or Bush Sr.

But carry on, tards.

I'm sure factcheck.org is considered Marxist propaganda to most of the board, but whatever.

You guys are really harshing my SOR buzz.

Spending time at your own home while president does not necessarily constitute a "vacation".

Now, back to the SUMMER OF RECOVERY!!!!!!

Summary of recovery is a legitimate criticism.  Vacation is not.  The two are mutually exclusive.  Why overcomplicate the matter?

I love "watch this drive."

It's always hilarious when the Obamabots come lashing out to "clarify", "obfuscate", "defend" and "redirect".

What is it considered, then? I wouldn't consider it working. Are you just not allowed to have a good time when you have time off work?

Focus people, these are the best of times!  Just because Obama played more golf in his first 9 months than Bush did in his first 3 years, we don't need to argue about who vacations more. Plus, with this type of incredible recovery, he can vacation for the remainder of his presidency because nothing can stop the Recovery Train!

Back to THE SUMMER OF RECOVERY!!!!!!!!!! :pbj:

Unprecedented

http://www.gallup.com/poll/142718/GOP-Unprecedented-Lead-Generic-Ballot.aspx

PRINCETON, NJ -- Republicans lead by 51% to 41% among registered voters in Gallup weekly tracking of 2010 congressional voting preferences. The 10-percentage-point lead is the GOP's largest so far this year and is its largest in Gallup's history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress.

Stop it! You guys are making me think this SUMMER OF RECOVERY thing is a farce!!!!!! :runaway:

I know another 500,000 lost their jobs last month, the stock market is a roller coaster, the housing market is still regressing, and the government wants to spend tens of billions more on stimulus, but c'mon, this is the SUMMER OF RECOVERY!!!!!

Well, with summer winding down and autumn upon us, I reflect back on my very special Summer of Recovery with a faint smile. But, now some lame National Bureau of Economic Research says the recession was over in June of 2009, making LAST summer the real Summer of Recovery! I don't know what to think!

How can last summer be the Summer of Recovery when the Super Stimulus money had barely started to trickle out. Could the Super Stimulus  have been a total waste of a trillion dollars!? I mean, we have had no jobs created, still at 9.6%, banks are not loaning money to Average Joe, businesses are sitting on trillions of dollars waiting for some good news on taxes and health care repeal. I am completely disillusioned.  :frown:

Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) wants to an extension of high-income tax cuts to be paid for with unspent stimulus funds...  Thoughts?
