Indiana's Brandon Rush has been suspended five games without pay for violating NBA's drug policy.

Brandon Rush said his brother, Kareem, plans to attend today's national title game but at a large expense.

Rush, who is averaging 8.6 points for the Indiana Pacers this season, intends to miss a Pacers game, according to Brandon. The Pacers played Sunday and have a game Tuesday.

"Kareem's going to miss his game," Brandon said. "He's going to get fined for missing his game tomorrow to come down here."

Asked if he planned to repay Kareem once he got into the NBA, Brandon Rush declined.

"I ain't gonna give nothing back to him," he said.

Rush also reported hearing from oldest brother JaRon Rush.

"I talked to JaRon last night and gave him an earful about how I got here and stuff like that," Brandon Rush said.

Heard this rumor as well. Word is that when Brandon entered the family room where his mom, older brothers, and illegitimate bastard Rush were sitting waiting for him he launched into a drug-fueled tirade, immediately knocking over an antique lamp in the poorly decorated room exclaiming, "nah, hell nah f-uck this intervention crap mane, I ain't no f-ucking drug head." After finally calming him down Jaron read him a letter telling him how what he was doing was hurting his mother. No report on how that went.
