Me and the woman were watching the game last night, and I said "if Frank left us, I'd be more than happy to get Gillespie".

Think that the average performance at UK and the little DUI thing is hurting him? He made aTm legit.

We discussed this on chat. michigancat and sd came to the conclusion that Billy Clyde or Sampson would be great hires.

I totally agree with the chat b/w MC and SD. Won't the school that hires Sampson have a penalty for doing so? I think I remember hearing that somewhere. If so, then I disagree with that, but only if the NCAA cross he bears follows him. Otherwise, would be great.

As terrible as the PAC 10 is looking this year, there could be some positions opening up. Not sure if Gillespie would jump on those though. I don't forsee any coaching opportunites opening up after this year in the Big 12 unless Martin leaves.

Bozeman can take the Bears to the Elite 8 and this fanbase wouldn't want him here. It's not like Currie would hire him anyway. I could see Currie hiring a guy like Pete Gillen or Steve Lappas

they wouldn't want him, but if he was hired, after a month they'd be spamming every message board and media personality defending him.

but yeah, currie wouldn't hire him. he's a tough hire, i understand that. but eventually some brave a.d. will give him a chance.

Personally, I'd be thrilled to have Billy Clyde Gillispie as head coach at K-State. Guy gets players.

I love sampson and the way his teams played, but I cannot imagine he'd be able to recruit well anywhere.

Gillispie would be good too if he had a stud staff.
