I love how they tried to pull K-State down into the mud, but Schultz said, "nah".

Is this what CU did after Gary Barnett and the stripper recruiting parties?  If so, uk is f8cked. 

Hopefully they nominate the liberal Social Sciences czar as chairperson, who thinks every dollar of the athletic budget should be spent on researching how autistic children with split upper clefts deal with having a transgender father and bisexual mother.

Schulz understands that you don't need "outsiders" on the board, particularly since the board has final discussion and approval power on contracts, and K-State immediately makes the contracts available to the public after they are approved and signed.   We want K-State people on the K-State Athletics Inc. BOD.

The span of control was way too large for Lew and the reason why he's soley responsible for everything that's gone on in that AD since he took over, despite how much he insists it wasn't his fault.  When everyone involved in the mess reports to you, guess who's ultimately at fault?  He's a dumbass.  He's like the anti-Truman, the buck doesn't stop with him.

Also LOL'd my A off at this comment by ol' Schulzy, an obvious shot at GPC's Tim Fitzgerald, the man that killed K-State football.

“I have serious concerns with confidentiality if someone external is added to the board,” Schulz said.

He said it might be hard for an outsider to keep secrets, such as when negotiations are under way to hire a coach.

Lew's a bonafide genius . . . he had Tardville believing something they're really not.  Had them convinced that they were on a skyrocket financially to a position only behind Texas in the conference, that he was a guy with his finger on the pulse of everything in that athletic department.   Meanwhile they're headed more South than North financially, all the while stuffing his pockets with millions of dollars in bonuses, covering hundreds of thousands of dollars in travel expenses and only the spaghetti monster knows what else.

When the LCD Screen shows those former ku employees being marched off in Orange jumpsuits and the final IRS/DOJ report comes out . . . Lew's going to be sitting back in his easy chair lighting his cigars with $100 dollar bills and laughing.

As an alum of Harvard on the Kaw, I am personally going to congratulate her on taking hold of the reigns and cleaning things up.  I will encourage and support (not financially) recommending one of their faculty senators (past president) take the lead -- especially if that person is a sociology professor or librarian.
