Anybody get them? Mrs. ETP made a comment this weekend about making sure we get in to get them this winter, and I laughed hysterically in her face.

I get one every year. Our office has someone come in and give them for free if we want them.

I've never gotten one, and I haven't had the flu for like 10 years.

Does it only protect you for the winter, or is there some gradual build-up immunity it gives your body?

I don't think it's really important until you are very old. But, I get one anyway for the delicious placebo.

She took the shot backwards, that's why that happened. Do it the correct way and you'll be fine.

i have to get a flu shot every year. i also think you are probably at the very least mildly Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) if you don't get one.

Know a chick that directs like 8 clinics for HCA and she says only the old, young, and those with compromised immune systems need one. Says it won't hurt to get one but there is no real reason to.

Meh. Flu shots are just a guess. they don't know what the actual flu strain is going to be.

Also the flu this season is probably going to be the worst

Definitely don't do it, especially if you will have to pay out of pocket for it.

i'd get a flu shot if there was known to be a highly virulent strain going around that the shot was effective in preventing. can't see the reason for getting one normally.

there's what, maybe a 25% chance of getting slightly sick for a couple of days? bfd.

also, don't have kids and you won't get sick so damn much, dumbasses.
