I own at least 5 pairs of Chucks but they are narrow in the toe or something. They rub the outer part of the little toe if I wear them a lot. I wonder if these new ones will be any different.

well, it might be.  like I so astutely pointed out- people don't wear chuck taylors because they're comfortable, nor because they're cheap.

I wear them to lift in because they are flat and I can usually find them or pf flyers for around $20-$30, I also have zero arches though.
