Wow, Spot on.  The only thing I might change is that I think Sonic is in the mix for best variety and their drinks put them over the top if you include those.  McD's is still sub-par but is showing some improvement recently.  BTW, sonic still has dip cones.  Arby's really only has the jamocha shake but it is pretty good.  

Also, BK is by far the worst for frozen treats.

Side Note: Just got back from a walk to DQ and I had a Strawberry & Golden Oreo blizzard.   Really good tastes like straw-shortcake

Sonic drinks are awesome and I think they have amazing chocolate & strawberry shakes.  My problem with their deserts are that they are essentially 40 ways to prepare vanilla soft serve.  Everything they have you can get at DQ.

My favorite FAST FOOD FROZEN TREAT is the new CAMPFIRE BLAST™ from
Sonic Drive-In.  It's everything great about campfire treats, minus the blazing heat. The Campfire Blast starts with toasted graham cracker flavored real ice cream, then it's blended with chocolate covered marshmallows. A modern-day twist to a classic fav.  When the heat of a WILDCAT FOOTBALL game gets me sweating I remember "It's Sonic"

Yep, I worked there for a summer.  "Choco Taco" chants would ring throughout the dinning hall every night.  Shelly had a nasty habit of running off quite a bit of the staff before their end-of-summer bonus was due.  Winadu was prolly 95% tribe when I was there.
