We need to find a KSU journalism student who is willing to take a paycut to work at the C-J.
I'm not sure how good of decision this really is. I think his job security was probably excellent at CJ. He had a plum job covering KU sports. I would also have to know the difference in pay between Fox Sports Houston and CJ. But my bet, is that he will come to regret this decision. I know he enjoyed covering the KU sports beat. So I can't imagine it getting much better than that for him.
Like I already said, I would like to know the difference in pay. But knowing Tully, I highly doubt he will enjoy writing for Fox sports Houston more than covering KU sports. I also highly doubt CJ is folding anytime soon.
J Brady is terrible, no better, bigger media outlet wants him. He's perfect for the Star though since their Sports Editors according to Whitlock and others want to always write with a negative slant towards KU.
Which is what I told them recently when I cancelled my subscription. They asked what they could do to keep me as a customer and I said that the only way that I would pay for another copy of The Star is if they had a new sports editor, and a new KU beat writer
"Son. This is why we are wildcats. Hard work, pride, the heart of this country. And if that's not enough for you, you can just move to California with your punk friends."

Tough to leave, but pumped to go. Now Kellis can have his dream job and we can have a 78-page thread on who will win the Cassidy/Levi/myswriter battle for the Eagle/Star spot.

robcassidy22: Retired athletes go to TV. Where's the former-player beat writer? @tullycorcoran and I want Warren Sapp to fill the Cap-J's KSU beat spot
Maybe Rob takes the CJ job
