Guess it would be nice to have on campus. Would the v-ball team play at the OOD then? Plus, don't they do indoor track stuff at Ahearn?

If you are talking about remodeling, then I vote no.
If you are talking knocking the old building down and then building a bad ass new facility, I am all for that.

A. great idea, you could renovate the facility into a top notch modern facility and also include a museum/hall of fame to celebrate the program and history of Ahearn (ie beat the russians, MLK, and Bobby K among others)

2. it will never happen. instead we will get a misplaced morton building somewhere in the vicinity of the Bram

Just convert the indoor football practice facility into the new basketball practice facility and attach it to the Octogon, then Build a new state of the art, just as big practice football facility across the road north of the Vanier football complex. Then build a walkway over the road to the football complex. Fixed.

Dlew has some interesting ideas on what to do with the free space that would be in place of Memorial Stadium and Ahearn...

There are good football programs that still play w/ a track and stuff around it & this would just be a practice facility for us.

We aren't getting any money FROM the BOR, we're only going to get permission to sell bonds.
