My personal dislike is when people say "ironically" or "that's ironic" when they really mean "coincidentally" or "that's a coincidence."  Lots of LIIQ in the world today.

LOL. My wife hates the name "Dick". She's foreign, and can't believe we actually use it as a name. I love that outside perspective, because it really reminds me to appreciate how hilarious that is.

And have made them all hate the word "moist" (I have no idea what conclusion to draw from that...)

I don't really hate the words,but the improper spelling and usage of the words lose and loose drives me bonkers. Lose is the opposite of win, and loose is the opposite of tight.  You don't loose a game, you lose it. My baggy pants are too loose, they're not to lose. 

People should have learned this by 3rd grade.
