as shitty as the 5 game losing streak was, 4 of the 5 were to pretty good teams, 3 of them on the road. so, yay?

Yeah and the Bears have improved as well. There definitely was a hangover after the Denver loss, but i've been pretty impressed of late. I mean, my god, that Alex Smith TD throw to Maclin on Sunday!

that was the best I've seen Alex play as a Chief. 2 questions: 1. Where the hell has that been? 2. Can he back it up.

now before we go crazy, it was 255 yards and 2 TDs. Good performance, best by Alex considering the game, conditions, and opponent, but still.

I still think his best performance, was the playoff performance, but he was fun to watch Sunday. I have no idea if he can keep it up, but I do think there's something to him having more time in the pocket. The radio did a study the other day and he's averaging a second and a half longer to make decisions, in the last 5 games vs any other season or run as a Chief. This Sundays game scares me. The Raiders will post points with Carr, now, can Alex win another one for them?

a big play would have been alex hiking the ball with 01 seconds on the play clock and running straight ahead every single time until the game is over

I put that game on Reid and the Defense. Smith had us in position to win that game, but yeah, he didn't do much down the stretch.

They lost. The whole team. The D got like 100 1st half interceptions, so whenever people put the loss on them, the lead was there doing anyway. No one finished the game.
