I hope this Matt Cassel can get the ball to the "Killer B's" of Bowe, Baldwin, and Breaston

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

I think you are going to be disappointed, then.  No cupcake schedule, teams have figured out that matt cassel can't read a defense.  Interior KC Chiefs defense cannot defend the pass.

Meh, hold serve at home, find two to three road wins

You must think very highly of your team if you think holding serve at home is a simple task.

Buffalo
Minnesota
San Diego
Miami
Denver
Pittsburgh
Green Bay
Oakland

Those are your home games.  At best KC goes 6-2.  And that would be amazing.

Bronco fans always take the NFL so seriously. They just live for the NFL.

What, do you think the NFL is a rough ridin' joke, or something?  Wow.  What will they think of next?

Green bay is the only team that remotely has me worried at home.

GB and Pittsburgh will probably be the only home games where the Chiefs aren't favored.

I doubt they are favored vs. San Diego.

Someone's a grumpy gus.  Chiefs are lookin pretty good, to say otherwise is either wishful thinking or ignorance.

Bye Bye Brian Waters :(

Ehh, they don't have a cake-walk schedule this year.  Their O-Line is not any better, especially with Waters gone and Weigman being 1 year older.  Their D-Line needs some serious help.  Hali and D. Johnson are the only quality players in their front 7 (and I'm giving DJamer the benefit of the doubt).  Berry will be a star, but he is still making young-player mistakes.  Other safety spot is a concern, and Flowers is the only quality corner.

Sucks, but I'm hoping we get a big announcement or two tomorrow to make up for it.

I wish it was like this every year, this week has been amazingly entertaining.

Definitely.  I really liked that one actually.

Hoping the big move tomorrow will be Aubrayo Franklin.  They are definitely shopping around for a big signing though, and they should be considering they are about 40 mil under the cap now.

What was the deal about minimum % thing?  Like 98% of spending cap?  Seems like KC has several big signings left.  (Not sure who they have left to resign, etc.)

The salary cap is just over 120 mil.  You have to meet an 89% payroll minimum which is around 107.

If they really do have to get there, they have some work to do.  I really don't know the exact figures though, that 40 million number was something I read in an article about Waters leaving and may not include the rookies signing, Breaston, etc.  It's honestly too confusing right now to know for sure.

I'm having a blast this week trying to follow what the Vikings, Twins, Chiefs, and Royals are doing in the FA market.  So far, I don't really have much of a problem with any deals.  I'll be pissed if the Royals let Frenchy go though.  The Chiefs seem to know what they're doing lately.  The Vikings....  The Twins....

I'm hearing LeRon McClain (known MCMW type) is all but a done deal.  Would have liked to grab the CB Joe Johnson though.

Wow, the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) chiefs would think it's a good idea to work on the only position on their team that doesn't need help.

MeClain would be a huge upgrade at both FB and short yardage/goaline back.
