It's so weird to me how cf3 can stay positive on the Royals, but not the Chiefs!

The way you defend/slob over Alex Smith is eerily similar to the way people defend Will Spradling's poor play.
:shakesfist: His record backs it up!

when you are 8-0 your expectations change. alex smith has not played well enough to get us where our defense will allow us to get. im happy as balls to be 8-0 but now im thinking about winning playoff games, the way smith has played lately i'm not sure that can happen. hopefully sunday was a step in the right direction but my god that 2nd half was brutal. chiefs.

I think our defense will allow us to get exactly where we want to go.  No matter what your schedule is, it's utterly amazing to hold all 8 opponents under 17 points in today's NFL.

i'm happy as hell. i freaking love this defense. i freaking love being 8-0.

but it's as if chiefs fans have completely wiped 95 and 97 from their collective memory.

allowed 10 and 14.

scored less both times.

lost.

crushed the city's heart.

2003, Chiefs weren't forced to punt a single time. Scored 31 points and lost by 7.

the chiefs haven't been good enough on both sides of the ball since 1969.

that's what i hope for over the next 2 or so years. some key members of the defense are hitting their 30's. jamaal only has a couple more great years in him..

this year is awesome and fun, but it probably won't last beyond the divisional round.

2015: super bowl or bust.

We have the 2nd youngest team on offense and the 11th youngest team on defense FWIW.

Derrick Johnsons getting old, but linebackers seem to stick around longer than most positions.

tamba and DJamer are both getting old. jamaal is right there with them. they don't have many great years left. the time to capitalize is now.

I agree.. most teams don't have the 1-2 of Hali and Houston, so at least we are well set with one pass rusher.  We definitely need to draft another great RB or QB in the next year or so because if Jamaal makes it out of this season (which we are using the crap out of him), I doubt he is up to par after next.

Average age on each side of the ball is irrelevant. The age of your star players is.

And I would love us to get a back up RB. Davis is awful.

Looks like we're staying with what we got at the deadline, not surprising since the NFL deadline isn't like baseball's.

I'm just super concerned that our inability to score is going to lead to us getting more exposed in the next 8 games. And our QB pressure was not what it should have been on Sunday. We were fortunate. Wish we were adding a backup RB tho

It would be amazing if we could add Ingram.

I enjoy him. Don't think he's a terrible human being.

At first, I hated TJ, but I like him a little now.

you guys, i went to high school with the Bills offensive coordinator  :Wha:

in 1998 i would have told you we'd have more luck playing pickup sticks with our butt-cheeks than him coaching professional football.
