I assume Alex Smith had some level of belief in Jenkins ability or the trade wouldn't have happened.  Also, Jenkins is younger so he has more time to get it together.

If they win 11 games, get bounced after one round due to a horrendous clock management error and no one dies, they'll have basically had their finest season of the new century.

Here's also hoping that Baldwin doesn't turn into a stud.

Nothing screams "inferiority complex" like thousands of chubby-faced, rosy-cheeked mid-westerners donning the ketchup and mustard and cramming their faces full of ribs at 10am on a Sunday and then bragging about the greatest tailgate in the country. It's a parking lot in the middle of nowhere. People bring coolers and barbecue grills to a desolate field and act like they've reinvented the kegger. You know what would be more fun? Going to a bar, walking to the stadium at game time, and then leaving and going to another rough ridin' bar. But we can't do that because the Chiefs conned KC taxpayers into spending $600 million polishing their turd in Independence.

He'd probably live it if there were yards to park in and you could watch the game from a shitty hill.

This team will get those 4 wins, I believe in them.

So is Jamaal hurt or not?  Last night, he was stuffed on all but one run, but each seemed to be a case of the line just getting destroyed by Pittsburgh's front 7.

Re: Braden.  How many drafted players are cut before their first season?

I would say that players drafted in the 6th and 7th rounds don't make the team more often than they make the team.

Really.  I figured most draft pics made the team, even in the 6th or 7th round.  if, for no other reason, then to protect the credibility of the coach and GM drafting the guy.

Yeah, but I believe you have to be cut and clear waivers before you can be signed to a practice team.  Gives the player the oppy to get picked up by another team for an active roster.

Bahahaha.  Aaron Curry retired today.   So much for that sure thing, multiple pro bowler, all star linebacker that we passed on.
