Tom Brady comes through the first 6 games every year at like 3-3 and has his team ready for the playoffs.  It's tough to keep focus early in the season with a team that has been this consistently good and it is worth trying some things out/getting young guys snaps to be better prepared later in the year.  Also, we've probably already played 4 of our toughest 6 games.  We also look way better than we did at this point last year.

Our secondary will have about 3x as much NFL experience by the playoffs.  I think we pick up some vet contributors and make another AFC champ game at least.

We're gonna win the West, win a playoff game, and lose in the divisional

i will party hard for that 28-21 home playoff win vs the jets. but yeah i could see baltimore coming in here and getting a W

Baltimore has already perfected losing a game up by double digits so I wouldn't pick them

the one time we used ceh as a pass catching rb was encouraging, since that’s what he did a lot of at lsu, and it showed that it worked in the nfl but then the coaches forgot about that

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Like the 2 times he wasn't even looking for the ball and it hit him directly in the helmet?

the snowbrag predictos

@ san francisco w 23-21
vs tennessee w 30-19
vs jacksonville w 28-21
@ la chargers w 30-22
vs la rams w 28-19
@ cincinnati w 26-23
@ denver w 25-18
@ houston w 31-18
vs seattle w 33-21
vs denver w 27-17
@ las vegas w 33-22

while these are all W's, the percentages add up to a projected record of 7.4-3.7 (rounded to 7-4), which would have the chiefs finishing 11-6. a win this sunday would push the projection to 12-5. san francisco is the highest rated opponent left on the schedule (as of now)

update

vs #12 tennessee w 29-20
vs #17 jacksonville w 31-19
at #24 la chargers w 34-22
vs #13 la rams w 29-18
at #10 cincinnati w 26-24
at #19 denver w 28-17
at #32 houston w 36-18
vs #14 seattle w 36-21
vs #19 denver w 29-16
at #20 las vegas w 34-23

most likely finish is 7-3 (12-5 overall)
2 games (plus tiebreaker) behind buffalo at 14-3. #2 seed ahead of baltimore (11-6).
defeating 7 seed miami and 3 seed baltimore at home before going to buffalo for pat's first ever true road playoff game

yes, fixed now.
i was looking at snowbrag's predicted record for the chiefs so far, which happens to be the same as their actual record (5-2)

the chargers might be cooked you guys.
wins:
vs #20 by 5
at #32 by 10
at #31 by 2
vs #19 by 3

losses:
at #3 by 3
vs #17 by 28
vs #14 by 14

haven't beaten anyone with a pulse, and their entire team is in the infirmary. they still give the chiefs O a lot of trouble so it will be a fiesty game in week 11, but they're going to have to steal some games somewhere to make the playoffs

It's still a little concerning that every remaining opponent is a ranked team.

i like it because he is under cheap control for 2.5 years, and those conditional picks are basically a 4th and a 7th. only upside, very little downside

Yep, the 2 games Clark is missing pays for him this year.  Biggest risk here is Toney's health.
