Kind of a weird game. Didn't have the fireworks I wanted it to, for sure because both defenses were very good. And probably also because Drew didn't have Michael Thomas and clearly hadn't recovered completely from having 11 cracked ribs and a collapsed lung 4 weeks ago. The Saints at full strength are very good, but not Chiefs at full strength good.

What are we thinking about Edwards-Helaire's injury? Losing him suuuucks.

a lot has been made of the chiefs not covering for six weeks in a row now. however, to me only the raiders and broncos games were close.
i went back and found all the two-score (or more) leads the chiefs have had in the 4th quarter over the last 6 weeks.
these games were never in doubt.

An actual close game requires the opposing team to have the ball with a chance to win, imo.  Despite blowing leads, the Chiefs have mostly picked up the first downs to kneel it out. 

I would appreciate a little more dominant end to the games but if that's the SB lull for a 14-1 team then it's hard to get too worked up.  The only legitimate concern about it is that there is 1 bye this year and Pitt is having a season so these games all matter more than they should.

I don't see anyone beating Los chiefs, but I also wouldn't draw any conclusions about the bills from that weird ass game we played against them.  Just my humble opinion.

I never once asserted that the Chiefs are frauds. Just that they would not blow out the Saints. At this point, I don't see the Chiefs losing another game. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did either.

Did you think I was melting down about it or something? I watch Colin a lot and he’s weird about small market teams. He find new ways to downplay the Chiefs weekly. That’s all I’m saying. I think it’s a natural instinct as a Chiefs fan to find ways to be overly concerned tho. That’s all.

Also this game is a prime example of why I don't bet on sports, there are just too many variables. The safety that could have been a touchdown (or possibly a kc field goal if just fair caught), one side missing a conversion, one side making one. It's just too much. I don't know how you dudes deal with it.
