So, we are losing on purpose so that Clark can move the team to LA, just like in Major League, right?

Maybe the Chiefs ineptitude is what Cam needs to jump start this season. As a Cam FF owner I am hoping so.

Yeah, I haven't even watched a game since the first half of the second game.

footballscoop.com is reporting that Romeo has "removed himself" from the defensive coordinator role and that Gary Gibbs will run the defense from now on.

So what will Romeo do with his spare time?

Smart move.  After the season, maybe he will be allowed to just fire his OC and DC and keep his own job.

Bailing water with a bucket on the Titanic. I don't think anything will save Romeo.

Potential replacements for Romeo:

Cowher
Gruden
Billick  :D
Perry Fewell  :)
Dirk Koetter  :dunno:

Any others?

Haley? Norv? It's either them or Chip Kelly.

Love to see how Kelly does at the next level, but no faith the ownership will spend the $ to get him.

Would also add Hue Jackson to this list.  8-8 with Al Davis constructing your roster is as good as 12-4 in my book.

What, using your first round pick every year on whoever runs the fastest 40 at the combine isn't smart?!

before the season, do the people who select MNF matchups purposely try to select the worst matchup possible or how does that work?

Usually based upon successes from the year before or games with meaning.

This one obviously has meaning (Haley's first time playing Chiefs since getting fired)

I doubt Haley's return is enough to receive a MNF game.  Quite a few people who aren't Chiefs fans thought they would have solid season after all the injured dudes from last year returned.

Scott Van Pelt just said on SC that most people went into the game considering it as the "playing equivalent of a bye" for the Steelers.

Somehow, KC finds a way to lose.

I think the Chiefs should just go get Klein. He would be money with Charles in the backfield.

They're trying so hard, so hard, that they eff up.

Cassell looked OK, Jamal looked amazing, still don't understand why we don't give it to him every play.

Barkley has more potential than all those guys, however none of that matters if he is put in a horrible system.

If you are a Chiefs fan, you just want the team to draft a QB in the first round so it looks like the front office is making an effort.  Ticket sales would soar if they did.
