The Chiefs have beaten bad to mediocre teams, except Denver. They were a dropped pass and bad goal line play away from OT or possibly a loss to San Diego, a bad team. But this thread isn't about the Chiefs.

Chargers' two losses right now are from the only two undefeated teams in the NFL. How do you get bad out of that? Their loss to Rams on the road was by 13, which I think does not fall under the "bad" category since the Rams are probably the best team in the NFL.

5-0 feels pretty good.

It seems like the Jags we’re picking up about 8 to 9 yards every time they ran the ball and yet they attempted 61 passes.

Mahomes was a little bit off yesterday. Some of it was defense and some of it was just him slightly missing. I don't know if it had to do with him getting hit more than he has all season. 2-0 in the next two weeks SHOULD give us home field in the playoffs barring an Andy Reid midseason slump. At that point we'd be two up on the AFC with tiebreakers over any meaningful competition.

On his 1st pick, the ball didn't come out of his hand right. It wasn't close to a spiral and it sailed a bit high. Could have been the ball being a little wet although it wasn't raining at the time. Bouye made a nice play on the 2nd pick. The ball wasn't out in front of Robinson enough, AJ undercut the route on a nice read

So Mahomes didn't have a "spectacular" or "very good" game, and we still scored on 5 of our 9 drives. Kelce had a drop at the 2 or it would have been 3TD/2FG instead of 2TD/3FG. And our 9th drive, we just tried running the clock. 7 runs 0 passes and a roughing the punter mixed in

Take out the 2 kneel downs, we had 28 carries 128 yards (4.6 Ave) and Showtime threw for 300+ on a Jags defense that hadn't allowed a 300 yd passer in a long time

Where I was, they showed the other game most of the second half because it was a blow out and the winner was never really in doubt.

As much as it pissed me off, it's pretty cool they just dominated a team that most had in their top 5-10 power rankings.

My new favorite sports (not as good a TV set up as Dubs but better food and beer selection) bar took the Chiefs down because it was a blow out, I kindly asked them to put the Chiefs back up and the obliged. (Should have also posted in the "at the bar alone" thread, but forgot)
