Yeah, buffalo actually didn't look too bad against new england with fitzpatrick at qb.

Chan has got to have a little something extra for Haley after he canned him right before the season.

Well then thank god Chan is a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)

At least the D held up their end of the bargain. So I guess that's promising.

Meh.  Defense is still playing well, which is nice.  Offense...kinda sucks, but that is nothing new.

Nothing to be ashamed of.

Chiefs played well today. D looks very promising. Even if we lose to Houston We are still in good shape, would love to see Oak beat SD today.

How? You think trying an onside kick on the opening kickoff and going for it on 4th and 2 on the 10 on your 1st drive is smart? Those 2 dumb decisions gave the Colts 3 free points and took 3 easy points away from us. I'm not saying we lost because of those 2 decisions, but they greatly affected the outcome of the game.

From what I saw, the singular player that will keep the Chiefs from having a very surprising and really nice season is . . . Matt Cassel, with 2nd place the receiving corp.

Otherwise they've got playmakers at the RB/Scat back/change of pace and the defense is not only playing well, they are very well coached.

I mean crap, how often can you expect a defense to go out there and shut down Manning and that offense, you gotta put some points on the board.

The Chiefs coverage teams have been impressive from what I've seen this year.

There were 3 plays that changed the complexion of the game:

The onside kick
4th down
Dwayne Bowe dropping the easy TD

If 2 of those 3 don't happen, the Chiefs win.

hey, dinguss, it means that the Chiefs are still a 1.5 game leader in the AFC West despite losing.  That's a pretty big deal.

Guess Weis wasn't talking about Cassel when he said he was going to fix the QB.

Cassel is utter garbage, and looks so scared and lacks any thing resembling confidence.  Granted Bowe dropped a sure TD, Bowe is Bowe and will never live up to his potential.  Cassel will hold this team back though, it's obvious the coaching staff realizes his inability to do anything well and thus call all these check downs and short passes.  They like the rest of Chief Nation hold their breath every time Cassel drops back to throw.

Lol, saw a stat that Charles avg per carry, 6.5, is great than Cassel yard per throw, 6.1.  Ha, if that doesn't give you a clue to how horrible he is nothing will.

But he can throw more than 5 yards down the field.

The sound of Brodie's ligaments popping probably travels more than 5 yards too.  This was definitely a game the Chiefs let get away from them.

Brodie played well against Balt last year, and there was a lot less to work with on the offense too.

From what I've seen of cassel, the only good qb quality I've seen in him is composure under pressure.  He's the same qb in pressure situations as he is in regular time.  Not that its saying much.  He just doesn't get happy feet and start forcing balls into triple coverage over the middle after rolling out.

The more I see of him, the more I'm convinced the Chiefs drive to Manhattan and bring ccq back to KC for Sundays.

Hey, 3rd grade vocab guy, if you look up that thing cruising at 20,000 feet is the point.  San Diego ain't what it used to be.

hey, spaz, nobody gives a eff if san diego is as good this year as they have been.  Winning the division means playoffs, and right now, the Chiefs are the only team in the division that isn't complete crap.
