I'm not sure I agree with how they measure draft effectiveness.

either that or those franchises are completely worthless at everything else.

Looking forward to Ravens(first one)/Broncos Super Bowl formula for the 2016 Chiefs.

Why are the chiefs better without Jamal Charles than they are with him?

They already said he's playing this year, so there's a start. Better than the early reports.

No need, #MyGUY Alex Smith was 10th in QBR last year.

QBR is a garbage statistic, but that doesn't mean AS isn't pretty good.

This signing feels like the Kris Medlen equivalent
:adios:

Yeah, it kinda does. He had some pretty good seasons with the Bucs before he got hurt and had a few issues away from the field.

I'm not terribly worried about WR.  If we can get a stud at a reasonable rate, sure, but I think getting Wilson and Conley snaps will pay off in the long run.  I like the signing because it maybe a stud, but if he isn't appreciably better than our current guys you can let him go.

If Paxton is still available by the time the Chief's pick, I think they are more likely to trade the pick so someone else can snag him.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Cleveland, San Fran, or Dallas offer their 2 and 3 to get back in the 1st ahead of Denver and the extra option year on a QB.  Chiefs end up with 3 picks in the first 3 rounds again by moving down 3-10 spots.

I think this will be one of the funnest first rounds in a while.  I think we see a lot of trades.

Ok upon further review, you weren't calling him as the first round pick...which is what induced my

I'm afraid all the good corners are going to be taken by the time we're up. This could be quite a pickle of a draft.
