Sounds like Gill has serious mentor potential i hope this doesn't lessen OB's burning hate of all things KU

OB has closed the Kansas mentoring borders against greater threats.  Relax.  He will mentor them from Goodland to Chanute.
Excellent west to east cite of OB mentoring coverage.

That's not what I meant.

I know what you meant.  It's like some people don't recognize a sodomy joke when they see one. What is this 1953?

I'm thinking CTR. I'll mail you the sign, or better yet, have Scary Smart's mom do it. She has stencils and good markers and nice jugs too

I have seen OB's Mentor Map on his wall complete with pushpins of "locations mentored"

Greg Sharpe was on BITB's show this afternoon discussing each North team's prospects.  When it came to Turner Gill and ku, he described Gill's discussions at the Big 12 Media Days as "strange" because he only talked about building relationships, and nothing of substance.  Sharpe thought Kansas fans should be disturbed at Gill's lack of discussion of the team's strengths or weaknesses, or what he sees as positives in moving towards the season.

Stanbot said Braden Wilson is an undiscussed gem for the 'Cats, and said he was better than Rock Cartwright (which is high  praise being compared to a longtime NFL fullback).

Gill and co. are just killing it on the recruiting trail right now.  Two new commitments last night from guys who switched their commitments from Iowa and Nebraska to KU.

Now let's talk BCS bowl appearances again, Ben.

Just looking forward to the day when Ben can pull his self esteem up by the bootstraps and ride out all the storms . . . instead of taking his little ball and going home every time there's a bump in the road or a DOJ/IRS/FBI/NCAA investigation of ku.   You can do it Ben, it's time to man up.

Ohhh, Ben.  Caught in a lie again!   :surprised:

KU went 19-16 vs. the North since Lew took over in '03.  Dax conveniently blames Mangino for his first year in the program when he took over Terry Allen's f*ck up.  Of all the Big 12 North teams, KU is the only team to play in a BCS bowl.

The success of ku's football program will go a long ways to confirming or debunking the existence of the Christian God.
