Love 'The Spot' commercials on radio. The background music makes you want to grab a glass of Pinot Grigio, kick your feet up, and ascend to 30k ft.

Construction trailor in MHK's parking lot

Traffic backed up due to a semi being blown over at the intersection of Scenic & Ft. Riley Blvd.

Take a bow Manhattanites. You've earned it.

3rd Largest increase in income: Manhattan, Kan.

Change in personal income, 2006-2007: 13.7%

Looking at change in personal income for the most recent years available, we find Manhattan, Kan., at number three for its 13% increase in that measure.

Home to Kansas State University and not much else, Manhattan has won accolades for its desirability as one of the best places to retire young. An abundance of golf courses and cultural activities related to Kansas State have made it a popular choice for those looking for a taste of the good life in rural Kansas. It may only be the eighth largest city in Kansas, but the city’s positive numbers for income are sure to attract even more within its borders.

I've heard nothing but good things about this "Fro-Yo."  I'm going to make an honest effort to head to Manhattan's more elite, east side and try some of it out and stuff.

Mrs. raquetcat and I ate at Orange Leaf before the game on Thursday, it's basically a serve yourself frozo yogurt place, get your own cup fill it up with as much yogurt and as many different kinds of yogurt as you want, then top it off with any of the toppings they have. The best part......it's pay by the oz so if you're not a fatty and don't need 2 lbs of frozen yogurt it's really not that expensive. The one negative is the seats are reallllyyy low (probaby equal to 6th grade seats) so if you're normal adult sized you look like an idiot sitting in them.

Fun game the mrs. and I play while walking our mini-dachsund in the hood.  We play Orange Leaf O/U.  Amazing game.  Also played once with FFF.  It could be a brisk, hoodie weather evening and set the line at 17, take the under and lose.  YOU ALWAYS TAKE THE OVER.  ALWAYS.
