Door Dings
« on: July 19, 2010, 08:22:07 PM »
Would give anything to actually see someone ding my car. Anything. I would smash an old lady's face into her car until the door was smashed in so much it wouldn't open. Then I would say, my bad, would you like to exchange insurance?  shazbot! off door dingers!!!  :chainsaw:

I enjoy the freedom of driving a piece of crap....I'm not a car guy.  Kind of wish I was sometimes, but I hate car payments, so mostly I don't do it.

Have one nice car the wife drives, gets smashed daily. Mine, never.

If I saw someone do that to my car and it was clearly an accident I would shrug my shoulders and tell them not to worry about it  :dunno:

Sounds like your wife parks too close to other cars?

This. People who get bent out of shape by door dings and shopping cart scratches crack me up. Sometimes when I pull into a large parking lot, if I have a lot of extra time on my hands, I'll park right next to that really nice car in the back of the lot just because I know it will piss the owner right the eff off.

When I see that car parked in the back of the lot I like to go inside and have them anounce the vehicle license plate and model.  Saying over the intercom that it was hit by another vehicle and see how fast they come running out and point and laugh at them.  Then when they go back in I'll key there door.  Always good for a Sunday afternoon, or any other day I guess.

Whenever I go to a Royals game or park around a bunch of other cars, I'm not leaving the place without keying at least two cars.  I keep an old key on my key chain that I sharpened down with a grinder which has served me well.

it's fun so why not do it.  that's my motto about everything in life.  if it's fun then you can lay odds that i'm doing it.  keying cars is a blast. if i have time then i will wait a few cars over for the guy to get to his newly keyed car and watch his reaction.  more often than not, it's hilarious.  if it isn't hilarious then i usually just leave.

I would kick them in the nutz/rat.  :curse:  I have never done it because I am not a dumbass and can get in and out of a car without smashing the car next to me, but if I did, I would leave my number and have my insurance take care of it.

Being a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and hitting another car door with yours is completely different than keying cars for fun.  I am completely ok with that.

Seems kinda dumb to get worked up over something so minor.  I mean, worst case you have a tiny scratch on your car.  WGAF.  Nobody will notice it but you.  Also, it was an accident usually.  It's not like they came to a game cheering for the other team or something.  Save your choke outs for important stuff imo.

Prob right, but people being inconsiderate aholes bothers me more than the dent.  I would feel terrible if I did this to someone's car. (unless I was clams and did it on purpose).

Inorite? We need to hang out sometime.  Could get some good keying in and then Ice some bro's.  Better yet lets Ice the guy who's car we key.  Great ending to a great day, I'd say!

Someone stomped on my tail pipe once.  :frown:

Would much rather have my car keyed.

i like the idea of the combo key/ice_a_bro_PAK.
i live right near a ton of parking garages.  also, just came up with an idea.  secure a key on top of an ice by taping it or glueing it.  wait for victim to come to his car and when he arrives, start keying car with the key attached to the ice.  key the living crap out of the vic's car.  when vic becomes enraged, hand them the ice and ice them.  when they get down on one knee to chug the ice, take off running.   usually running to the next level of the parking garage should work and you will have lost the victim.  if they continue chasing you then it get out your ice block and ice them again.  keep running.  two icings should give you enough time to get away.  if police or security get involved, just ice them too.  it will stop them in their tracks, unless they've already been excomm'd which would suck, then it's best just to keep running.

below is a draft pic of the ice key i described above-
