What an incredibly dirty program.  I'm jealous.

It makes me sad that the true filthiness of their program is completely lost on the hundreds of thousands of "ku basketball" fans in this state.  Most have NO idea just how hard KU has worked to maintain their high level of basketball....they think it "just happens."  That's insulting to the men and women in the athletic department and affluent alumni community who have enabled this basketball prowess.

Tip o' the cap to KU....again.

Schools are at risk of taking a commitment from a young man who may not continue to develop, where it doesn’t work out, whereas the individual has much less risk. I think it’s an example of trying to regulate something you can’t manage, and there will be many, many rules broken on that.

Self already warning us that he will be breaking many rules in the not so distant future.

Self calling his shot.  He is the Babe Ruth of cheating.

he'd be my total favorite IF he wasn't so racist.

I'm white, so I am not really bothered by it in the same way that people of color should be bothered by it.  I go around saying that I "condemn it," but I don't boycott KSU vs. KU games or anything like that.  I suppose when I really take look deep inside myself, I more just "frown" at it, ya know?  Obviously I would never dine in his home or conduct business with him, but I'm still going to watch the games and discuss the results.

Does that make me racist?  :dunno:

You have to admire a school that's literally got an entire chapter of rules that were created because of how they operate.

I wish we pushed the boundaries like that...

Here's the thing guys, we tried cheating and it ended with a mustachioed man paying his own way to offer up a life insurance policy to buy out an ex-coach.

We just got caught whacking it and are grounded.  It is going to be Easter brunch with the grandparents for awhile.  Lots of shirt tucking, wet combed hair, pleats, silver dollars to tuck away for a rainy day, musty hymn books and hand writing thank-yous.  If we play our cards right though, when the old people die we may get to buy that kowasaki and hit the big time.
